I grew up in Rimouski, a small city in the Bas-St-Laurent region of Quebec, 6 hours east of Montreal.
I received my Ph.D. from the University of Toronto in February 2020, shortly after starting work as an assistant professor at Université Laval in January 2020. My dissertation, entitled “Rational Hope,” won the University of Toronto David Savan Prize.
Outside of my philosophical life, I enjoy rock climbing – a “serious hobby” that I have been practicing for 12 years and which has taken me to many places (from Bulgaria to just 20 minutes outside of Quebec City).
Pictured here climbing “The Future Will be Mine” (Sector Cabernet) in Margalef, Spain.
