I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Université Laval (Quebec City). I am also an affiliated researcher at the CRÉ (Centre for Ethics, Université de Montréal) and the GRIN (Groupe de recherche interuniversitaire sur la normativité, Université de Montréal).
My areas of research specialization are moral psychology and philosophy of action. I am especially interested in our capacities for future planning and commitment, as well as in the interactions between these capacities and emotions. My work focuses on topics such as intention, grit, hope, and interpersonal trust, with the broad aim of understanding how to live well as temporally oriented agents.
